As many of you have noticed DPS officers are here in Val Verde county from all across the state on detail from their home counties to assist Border Patrol and our local law enforcement officers. To support these officers who are away from home we would like to provide the DPS a dinner as a way to thank them for all there hard work and keeping are community safe. After 2 weeks on detail to Del Rio I am sure many are craving a home cooked meal --not that our local dining options aren't wonderful. We are planning on making chicken spaghetti salad, bread and a desert. We would like to encourage ALL Val Verde 4-H members to join us to support these out of town law enforcement officers by contributing to the Val Verde 4-H DPS Dinner!
